Weight management Abs stimulator

*** Weight Management – Abs Stimulator device *** – REVIEW

Training Abs Stimulator with additional Arms pads’.

Team member testimony: 55-year-old Male

Having tried out this product for just over 4 weeks so far and using mostly twice a day as suggested, significantly pleasing differences are noted in my arms and abs areas. The training Abs stimulator pads were also used in addition to healthier eating and exercise routines using a cross trainer 2 to 3 times a week.

INTRO: – The device itself is based on TENS technology with the primary Abs kit having eight sticky hypoallergenic gel pads that adhere to your skin and an easy access central programme console sitting on top. The console controller distributes small electrical current pulses from chosen set programmes and intensity levels as desired to tone and strengthen the abdominal muscles and help with weight management.  The other 2 smaller pads are for more specific areas where needed.

SETUP: – To begin using the toning and strengthening device, you will need to charge each of the three controllers, which is via a single USB type provided adapter. It is necessary to then remove the plastic covers from the pads revealing the ‘sticky’ side and then attaching to the required muscle group being worked on. Of note, a scan of the user guide instructions first was worthwhile for understanding the basics and also to check the recommended safety conditions for using.

As an aside, one of the three required controllers for covering arms and abs was initially found to be faulty. However, this was resolved very quickly by contacting their customer services and speaking with a very courteous and helpful representative who just requested a short video to help show the issue. Following this they immediately sent out an entire new and complete abs ‘kit’ to enjoy.

EARLY USE: – The device pads felt good quality and appeared sturdy enough for repeated use. On placing the different pads on either the arms or stomach abs areas, they easily moulded to and stuck down around the required muscle areas. Although they are represented as arm pads, they can be used on other muscle groups such as legs and hip areas if wished. Keeping it simple in use, choosing at random the set programme ‘4’ from the six available electronic impulses was good for me, covering a variety of differing massaging sensations and pulsing cycles over the 12-minute timed session.  Using a low setting of ‘1’ or ‘2’ out of the 10 intensity levels which are adjusted using the ON/INC (increase) of OFF/DEC (decrease) buttons proved enough starting intensity on my stomach abs area.  The run rate times were of 12-minute durations although I am not sure if this varies between programmes.

For mainly personal convenience it was easier to do the arms Biceps’ / Triceps’ smaller pads separately but the early-days experience was that even on setting ‘1’ for intensity this seemed quite heavy duty on the entire arm area to endure. Further testing found the need to ensure good positioning of the pads on the bicep area and also keep the arm in a more right-angle position to limit the range felt with electrical impulses. Maybe a different programme to my chosen programme ‘4’ would be better applied for use specifically on the arms.

SUMMARY: – The ‘8 Pad Abs stimulator’ has been a great purchase to try out and definitely worthwhile value for money based on the results felt achieved in a relatively short amount of time. Both arms all look and feel much stronger and were the quickest to have noticed changes on. Furthermore, there is noticeable stomach flatness and waistline improvement.

Together with healthier eating and exercise a total weight loss of 13lbs has been achieved from an original 12 Stone 11lbs.

This gave further motivation itself to keep the programme going for a while, with inclinations perhaps to move up with higher intensity settings and try other function programmes. Also, with the easier increased arm muscle this hopefully will support other fat areas as muscle tissue helps burn more calories which I know my waistline still needs a fair amount of work on.

The existing ‘sticky’ pads remain good following 3 weeks of twice a day use with replacements purchasable and seem to be on ‘Sale’ most of the time. Alternatively, maybe a small piece of surgical tape or elastic band might simply extend the use of the pads a little longer? Also, as a key benefit it would have been useful to have had more details on each of the 6 function programmes to explain suitability and differences on how they impacted on Individual muscle groups. This was not stated anywhere that I could immediately see.

FINAL THOUGHTS: – The 8 pad Abs Stimulator device kit has proven good value at £19.99 and certainly helped with muscle strengthening and toning of my stomach abs and arms in use. Furthermore, surprisingly quick and noticeable improvements in my overall look and feel together a good weight loss way above initial expectations have resulted in a much better feel-good factor.

Using this device, I could also watch the TV or carry out other general tasks whilst it was working away. Freeing up my time over the traditionally endless and mundane sit-up crunches of the old days.
