The Stimplus Pro is the latest in electro-acupuncture. This amazing device applies the same principle as the age old Chinese therapy of acupuncture, without needles! The Stimplus Pro finds acupuncture points (acupoints), and then stimulates away the pain electronically – at the touch of a button. Acupoints are detected with sound and light. 6 LED indicators on the top of the unit light up, one by one. The Stimplus Pro also emits a low pitch sound which rises the closer you are to an acupoint.
Safety Warning
The Body Clock Stimplus Pro should not be used in conjunction with either a sensing or demand type pacemaker, except under medical supervision.
This device should not be used around the carotid sinus or the orbits of the eyes.
Patients with known or suspected heart disease should confirm with their medical advisers that it is appropriate for them to use the Body Clock Stimplus Pro before starting any treatment.
Patients who react poorly to the idea of electrical stimulation of any kind should not use this device.
Do not use this device transcerebrally (i.e when treating another individual, do not make a circuit by placing the device and your spare hand on their head).
Do not use the Body Clock Stimplus Pro to treat undiagnosed pain.
The safety of TENS devices for use during pregnancy or birth has not been established.
TENS is not effective for pain of central origin.
TENS devices have no curative value.
